Currency Settings
Open via Settings → Currency.
Default currency
The currency all reports and totals are displayed in. Account and transaction data isn’t converted — they’re left in their own account currency — reports convert for display (see Multi-currency).
Display
- Currency symbol position — before/after the amount (e.g. $100 vs 100$).
- Decimals — 2 (default), 0, 3, more depending on the currency; some currencies (JPY, KPW) typically use 0.
Exchange rate
Bluecoins fetches daily exchange rates from configurable providers. See Exchange rates in the guide for the details: default provider selection, crypto coverage (e.g. DAI), and per-transfer manual overrides.
Foreign-currency display
- Show balance sheet converted or in original currency — a per choice; with the EACR toggle for fair-value historical conversion when calculating the balance sheet of foreign-currency accounts.
- Negative balance color: green/red or neutral.
FAQ
- Q: Can I set symbol position per currency? The default display applies globally per currency; use the default currency + symbol configuration for your main currency.
- Q: My reports don’t match the exchange rates I see online? Rates are fetched on a schedule (once per app session); tap Refresh under Settings → Currency and check the provider is enabled.
